In 2011 Fabrizio Righi settled down in Singapore, and started promoting Italian Culture to the local Community. After organising many events, fairs, workshops, courses, fiestas with local institutions and associations, at the end of 2017 he created The Italian Quarter to gather friends in Singapore from both local and international communities who love Italian culture or are interested to know more about Italy. The Italian Quarter if the first historical Italian-locally-based group to ever perform in the biggest Carnival in Asia, the 2018 Chingay.  In collaboration with local cultural institutions, The Italian Quarter regularly meets, including till 10 nationalities, and organises events to promote Italian art and culture.
